George Clooney, the 59-year-old actor, director and activist, is the legitimate definition of “aging like a fine wine”. Instead of trying to fight off the greying hairs that come with the advancing years, Clooney embraced it and became the silver fox older men wish to be and women wish to be with. By keeping his hair simple, sophisticated, and stylish it’s no surprise he has been voted the sexiest man alive - not just once but twice!
This debonair man has been stealing hearts since the 90s in his breakout role in ER has continued to do so throughout his career - gaining a larger following from his more prolific films such as Oceans Eleven (2001), Fantastic Mr Fox (2009) and The Midnight Sky (2020), amongst many others.
Take a leaf out of his book and learn how to keep it classy with the ultimate Clooney haircut.
Get to the barbers and ask for a side part and soft comb over over to the right. To match the picture the top needs to be left around 3 – 4 inches long especially if you have thick, textured hair, but can be brought closer to the scalp if you have thinner hair. ask to crop the hair short around the back and sides and blend it into the top length. This haircut goes well with a trimmed or groomed beard, as well as a clean shaven face.
Clooney doesn’t really change his haircut all that much. That’s the perfect thing about going for a timeless and professional look. However, if a comb over isn’t exactly your cup of tea you can always change the styling up a bit by slicking your hair all the way back or pushing it forward into small spikes or go for a dashing, yet daring, style up style your hair into a neat quiff.
